Sami Hijazi
I have been a member of the Albuquerque community since 1989. I Graduated from the University of New Mexico with a BA in MIS in 1995. I have been a local business owner since 1999. I have also served as IT supervisor at Motorola and Sun Healthcare until 2006 when I left to expand my business opportunities. I have served as Treasurer on the Board of Salam Academy and I have served on the ICNM Board as Director of Public Affairs in 2004 and as Treasurer in 2010 & 2011. During which period I assisted with the completion of many key projects such as the 1024 rebuild, the children’s playground and the conversion to electronic documentation. I have participated in several committees including the Bylaw change committees in 2004 and 2011.
