The ICNM and Masjid Ta Ha, Santa Fe wrote a joint letter to President Obama thanking him for his support in the New York Community Center and Masjid issue. The letter follows PresObama.pdf
Eid will be either Thursday September 9th or Friday September 10th. Eid prayer will take place at ICNM NOT at UNM. We will utilize both the prayer halls and the multi-purpose rooms for the event. Carpeting will be provided for the multi-purpose halls. The decision to move it to ICNM was based on:
a. Security issues having to do with the timing of Eid falling on the eve of Sep. 11.
b. The difficulty in securing enough parking spaces as the Eid will fall on a work day at UNM
Khatmul-Quran will take place on Tuesday September 7th during the Taraweeh prayer. Please make sure you do your best to attend this great event.
A total amount of ~$38,000 (which includes $5,000 from the ICNM central relief fund) were collected for the Pakistan flood relief have been sent off to the following organizations:
a. Helping Hand (Based in Pakistan and registered as a non-profit ORG. in the U.S.) ==>$10,000
b. IDHI (Based in Pakistan and registered as a non-profit ORG. in the U.S.) ==>$10,000
Central New Mexico Correctional Facility in Los Lunas will be having a volunteer training session.The training is on Saturday, the 19th of June at Heights Christian Church at the corner of Louisiana and Comanche in Abq. The times are from 9:00 - 11:30 AM. Anyone interested, please contact Omar Ganz. Please try to let him know if you want to attend by Monday, June 14th.

ICNM Women's Group has a food bazaar fundraiser outside today, support them generously.
ICNM will host a community appreciation dinner this Friday, May 28 at 7 pm. We will honor the Sunday school graduates as well as other graduates and bid farewell to members leaving our community this summer. ICNM will provide catered food for the community. Bring your friends and family.
