Ibrahim Ahmed
My name is Ibrahim Ahmed, my family and I joined Albuquerque community in 2010. It is my honor to serve the ICNM community and to be nominated for the public affair position. Through the current letter, it will be my pleasure to enumerate my thoughts and ideas to fulfill the position and ICNM community needs.
I vision ICNM community as representatives of our beliefs and faith serving the greater Albuquerque and New-‐Mexico area. To better serve our community, as director of public affairs, I am seeking to strengthen the bonds within our community members, and call to strengthen the bridges between the ICNM community and the surrounding communities and ABQ community. And to be able to achieve our goals, I’d like to propose the following plan:
- Calling the initiation of a ICNM e-‐mail personal account to ICNM members and board members: the aim of which to unify our output e-‐mail domain talking to the community, and to support building and maintaining the ICNM image to the community.
- Revive the ICNM Newsletter to become the main communication platform for the intra and inter-‐community events and activities; i.e. stage for announcing our community events and activity to ABQ community, and to get other communities events knowledgeable to us.
- Request the ICNM business members to support exhibiting the ICNM logo and support the distribution of the monthly Newsletter.
- Build an outreach program for other Muslim members of ABQ community to support the ICNM mission.
To achieve our vision, I am asking for your support and guidance from the ICNM community members, regardless of age, gender or ethnicity.
