I am from Ghana - West Africa has lived here in the United States for over 15 years. Eight years with the Albuquerque community. A student at CNM and UNM. Married to Aimee Addy with two children, Mar'yam (aka) Jai'zah and Ibrahim Addy.
My Plan
Statement by Allah and the report from the Prophet, "invite (all) to the Way of thy Lord with wisdom and beautiful preaching; and argue with them in ways that are best and most gracious: for thy Lord knows best, who have strayed from His Path, and who receive guidance." An-Nahl:125.
The Prophet, (SAW) is reported to have said, "Indeed, gentleness adds more beauty to the atmosphere it reposes therein". Dawah is a special mission to deliver a message of inviting people to worship Allah according to the way that He wants to be worshipped. I will consult the knowledgeable and those already involve in dawah in the community for advice and ideas, such as Zayd, Imam Shafi, etc. Since we need unity in our community, my plan is to do my best to establish a good relationship with members/families of my Muslim community. Finally, It helps to know if we are on the right path or not. So, I ask you all to not hesitate to suggest an idea or advice me. May Allah rewards all of you and guide us to that which pleases Him only, Amin.
